Dr. Ralph D. Warnock, D.M.D.
Dr. Ralph Warnock grew up in Warner Robins, GA, and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music and Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998. His General Practice Residency was at the Medical College of Georgia, where he completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry. That same year, he opened his own private practice in the Columbia area. In 2008, he relocated his practice, Lake Murray Pediatric Dentistry, to Chapin, SC.
Dr. Warnock is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the South Carolina Society of Pediatric Dentistry. He is currently on staff at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital where he provides dental rehabilitation for infants and special needs patients. Dr. Warnock has consistently been selected by his colleagues and peers as a Top Dentist in Pediatric Dentistry for the Greater Columbia Metropolitan area as seen in the Columbia Metropolitan Magazine.
Outside the office, Dr. Warnock enjoys spending time with his wonderful family. He is married to the former Jennifer Newton of West Columbia, SC. Dr. Warnock and his wife reside in Chapin and are the proud parents of two sons, Eli and John Spencer, and a daughter, Brynn.
Our Staff
Patty
,TREATMENT COORDINATOR, presents and explains treatment recommendations with
any options and works to ensure that patients and their parents are comfortable with financial
arrangements. She’ll spend all the time you need to help you understand your dental insurance plan or
help you make other arrangements. She’s been doing this a long time and understands the anxiety that
goes along with treatment. Her three children (and one grandson!) have taught her what it takes to make
everybody happy.
Angie
received her certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Midlands
Technical College. Angie has a “gift” for working with young children. Her calming personality and
professional demeanor makes her a calming influence to our team and our patients. In her spare time,
Angie enjoys camping, bike riding, and reading as well as spending time with her two girls.
Mary Margaret
, our Patient Coordinator, is the friendly face at the front desk. Her genuine interest in people and fun
personality makes out patients at ease when they first walk in the door. She makes it fun for us to come to work!
She is a native of Chapin so many of you may know her.
Kellie
, is an experienced dental assistant, now our Appointment Coordinator.
She brings her expert knowledge in Dental Assisting to our front desk team. You can ask her almost anything,
and she can answer. She is a newlywed and she loves being outdoors and traveling with her husband.
Mitzi
, an 18- year experienced Dental Assistant, has worked with Dr. Warnock for the
last few years. Mitzi has a passion for her career that clearly shows when interacting with patients and
parents. She loves working with children. Away from work, Mitzi coaches basketball and is an avid baker
(yes we get treats).
Tori
Dental Assistant, her drive to become a dental assistant resulted from a bad experience at the dentist when she was a child.
She works hard to ensure each child has a great experience in our office. She loves all things outdoors, gardening,
fishing, etc and she fills her creative side by refinishing furniture.
Lacey
Dental Assistant, calm demenour reduces the fears and anxiety our patients may have about visiting the dentist.
She did her student internship with Dr. Warnock and we were so impressed with her, we had to keep her.
When she is not working, she spends time with her child and family.
